How we got here

Built store by store

Giant did not start with 138 doors. It started with one, and the thing that got us from there to here is unglamorous: hire people who can talk to customers, pay them on what they sell, promote the good ones, and keep the shelves stocked.

Today we operate across the Metro Southeast, Northeast and South Central markets, from Jacksonville and Daytona through Orlando and South Florida, up into Philadelphia, Trenton and the Jersey Shore, out to Charlotte and western North Carolina, and west to Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

We are an independent authorized dealer. Metro by T-Mobile provides the network and the plans. We provide the stores, the staff, and the part where a human being helps you.

Working here

What the job is actually like

No sugar coating. Retail wireless is a sales job with a schedule that includes weekends. Here is the honest version.

You get paid on what you sell

Base plus commission on activations, accessories and home internet. Our better reps make real money, and the ceiling is not theoretical.

We promote from inside

Most of our store managers started on the sales floor, and the people above them came up the same way. If you want the next job, it exists here.

Nights and weekends are part of it

Stores are open when customers are off work. Saturdays are the biggest day of the week. If that is a dealbreaker, better to know now.

Bilingual is a real advantage

A lot of our customers prefer Spanish. If you speak it, say so on your application, because it changes which stores we can place you in.

No wireless experience needed

We train. What we cannot train is showing up and liking people. Restaurant, retail and car sales backgrounds all tend to do well here.

You interview fast

Apply online, pick your own interview time from the manager's real calendar, and talk to the person who would actually be your boss.
